I was fortunate to capture the beautiful Astrid Reyes, one of the resident DJ’s of Bside Manila. I can still remember the first time I watched her perform over 3 years ago in the Philippines. She’s an amazing sound selecta and her performances will definitely leave an impression on you. Along side her significant other Red I, they both continue to perform, produce music and travel. We share a common interest of photography, and she’s constantly capturing the B-Side Events with her mad skills.

Here’s a sneak peak into the world of Bishop Lamont. I was fortunate to capture him recording for the new album “Reformation” which is releasing around the fall of 2012. A Day In The Life is a series of episodes that I will be capturing for some of the most creative and talented people that I meet along my journey and have made the jump to follow their passion and dreams. 1881 Project is an entrepreneurial movement and a creative pursuit, formulated to expose talented individuals desiring to spearhead change within the world. To us, one idea, one individual, and one driven pursuit has infinite possibilities.

Las Vegas Foodie Fest with the Famous White Rabbit Truck

Hosted by Red Dragon the event was held at the Silverton Casino and there were over 30,000 thousand people in attendance as well as entertainment, carnival rides, bands, and of course the Famous White Rabbit Truck from Los Angeles, CA.

White Rabbit brought the party! Guest DJ’s Including DJ’s Earwxxx (Las Vegas Tao, Mirage), Phaze (Las Vegas, 97.5), Dr1ft (Philadelphia), Dement (Los Angeles), Jtech (Los Angeles), Special J (Los Angeles) and J Kino (Los Angeles). We had some dance crews (TRG) getting down by our truck and of course held our famous 6 lb burrito challenge (featured on Man Vs. Food) on the main stage.

Two things I love: Music and Photography

Here’s a collection of photos I have taken through out the recent months being in the Philippines.

This group of friends has been and inspiration in the game of creativity. Some of the most amazing and talented musicians reside in the Philippines, and in the last few years many international DJ’s and artists till this date continue to see what all the fuss is about.

Hiking Adventure Mt. Pinatubo, Philippines

We had a great time hiking with some family and friends to Mt. Pinatubo. This is actually my 2nd time, and we actually got to go inside the crater. The hike was about 3 hours one way, and the experience led us through canyons, lava mud rivers, and jungle terrain towards the end. Once we got over the ridge, there was a breathtaking view of the crater.

Just one month after getting engaged, I ended up back in the Philippines for work and I sent Jane out to follow me. We had an amazing time traveling all over asia (engagement adventure) lol I will be uploading all of our travels soon but this is what kicked it off.

Hidden Valley is amazing, if you get a chance to visit the Philippines this place is a must see and its only about an hour and a half away from Manila. There are natural hot springs pools all over the place, and the water is suppose to have some healing properties.

Kuya Mike, one of the famous white rabbit truck chefs brought his daughter cody (Asian DORA) and wife sheena – and I was able to capture some family portraits of them as well.

The most exciting trip I ever took! Honolulu, HI – Episode 1

There are so many words to describe how special and memorable this trip was in Hawaii. We did so much in a short period time, not to mention we also had a huge group of 19. We hiked, visited some really cool beaches, drove through some scenic routes, ate some awesome local food, went to a luau, and so much more. Thanks again Mike and Chrystine for organizing this all together! Where we going next?

Here’s a video the summarizes the whole trip and many celebrations including the recent marriage of Mike and Chrystine, the birthday of Edward, and also shows the epic proposal I had with my girlfriend Jane Phu (who is now my fiance, yup she said yes) =) Check out the photos too!

This was definitely a fun and memorable wedding, sweet and straight to the point! It was my first time capturing a wedding on a ship, and it only made sense. James and Joanne kept there theme from their engagement (Cheap Thrills and Travel), I’ve captured them on a plane, train, and now a ship. lol

Along side me was my other half Jane Phu who did an amazing job on the Hair and Make-Up for the Bride and Bridal Party.

You might notice Chef James Du working on the famous white rabbit truck, cafe, and even on today’s famous food channels. He’s an amazing chef and a really good friend. Joanne and James have been together for as long as I can remember and I’m glad you too have finally sealed the deal. Thank you for honoring me as your photographer. Now make some babies!

I was fortunate and blessed to capture the beautiful wedding of Jon and Andrea in San Diego, CA. Jon is a close friend that I’ve known since elementary school, and I was honored to capture beautiful memories that they both can cherish for the rest of their lives. Also, It was my first time taken photos on a sail boat, and I literally almost fell off trying to take pictures of these two love birds. Here’s some photos from the event.

The Bside Manila Crew stayed here at one of the coolest resorts in Boracay Philippines. The bed and breakfast is one of the best kept secrets on the Island. To stay here is very affordable and the food is amazing, my favorite being the Adobo Flakes with rice and the Mongo! All day!
